Meet our Knight-Riders - Wayde "The White Knight" News Meet Wayde "The White Knight", our Director and one of the awesome Knight-Riders who will be taking on the Ride to Conquer Cancer next weekend the 17th & 18th of October; Why do you want to be a part of the Ride to Conquer Cancer? Having lost two grandparents to cancer and also seeing people very close to me affected with the disease I know how devastating this can be to families and the ones we love. I am honoured to ride with MACA for this event, I can’t wait to make a difference and be a part of something that means so much to me and my family. How often do you ride? I haven’t ridden a bike in 10 years (or more). What are you most worried about doing this 200km ride? Completing the challenge as an inexperienced rider. How are you training / preparing for this ride? Every week I have been training with the Knight-Riders and pushing to get to the 200km goal. How do you think the Knight-Riders will go as a group? Just entering and raising funds means we have already won as a group. I am so proud of the Knight-Riders for committing and taking on the challenge. Good Luck Wayde! Contribute to this history-making event with a donation to Wayde. Funds raised in The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer® will support ground-breaking, critical cancer research being undertaken at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, Western Australia’s premier adult medical research institute, investigating the genetic and environmental causes of a range of diseases.
