From Start-Up to Standout
Knightcorp was founded 16 years ago by a then 23-year-old Wayde Knight, who saw an industry resistant to change. Brokers offered poor service, lacked innovation, and provided little transparency. Insurance was seen as a grudge purchase, and he set out to change that.
What began as a bold vision quickly gained momentum. Word spread, growth followed, and Knightcorp became known for doing things differently. Today, we count some of Australia’s most prolific brands among our valued clients.
But what got us here won’t get us there.

Our new brand idea—The Forerunner’s Edge—was inspired by the forward-thinking businesses we work with every day. In business, you can never know what’s next. Sixteen years on, our entrepreneurial spirit is more alive than ever. With a bold new brand and a website built for today’s clients, we’re reimagining how business insurance works—and how it feels.
We’ve simplified processes, upgraded tools, and elevated design to deliver an experience that’s efficient, intuitive, and refreshingly human. We are transitioning insurance broking from being a product to a service.

We started by auditing over 40 insurance brands across the market. The patterns were clear—and uninspiring:
- Corporate blue
- Generic fonts
- Stiff, confusing language
- Soulless stock photography
The industry lacked personality, differentiation, and human connection. That was our challenge.
We partnered with Twist, a dynamic brand design agency, to create something bolder—something that truly reflected Knightcorp’s DNA and aspirations. Together, we developed a brand with energy, edge, and clarity. One that inspires our people, excites our clients, and signals the kind of future we’re here to build.
A Website That Works Hard—And Looks Good Doing It
Just like the brand, our new website is built with intention. It’s designed around what our clients need:

We’re investing in our people to drive this evolution:
