Knightcorp embarks on MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research for fifth consecutive year News Monday, 28 October 2019 The Knightcorp 'Knightriders' once again took part in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research making it our fifth consecutive year of participating. The ride is an annual two day event that benefits the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and their fight against cancer. This year the ride took place on October 26 & 27, and saw over 1,000 riders take part in the event, going up against some of the toughest weather conditions, including 37 degree heat. The Knightriders team consisted of 12 Knightcorp staff, five of whom were taking part for the first time. Luke Juniper, Senior Account Executive said, "I took on the challenge of the ride for the first time three years ago, thinking it would one and done given I'm not much of a cyclist." "That first ride had such an impact on me that I've now done it three years in a row, the fundraising and ride itself have become a real highlight for me, something I look forward to taking part in every year." Every year the Knightriders are committed to fundraising as much money as possible, knowing that it is going towards cancer research. Our team knows that everyone at some point in their lives will be affected by cancer and are passionate about playing their part. To date, Knightcorp has raised in excess of $250,000 for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. If you would like to know more about the MACA Cancer 200 please click here.
